Brook Harkless

Brook Harkless has extensive experience in the retail and merchandising sector, currently serving as VP and DMM of Recreation & Front End at Academy Sports + Outdoors since May 2018. Previous roles include Sr. Manager of Merchandise Planning and Buyer for various recreation-related categories. Prior to Academy Sports + Outdoors, Brook Harkless held buyer positions at Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh and Sports Authority, focusing on eCommerce and water sports, among other categories. Early career experience includes roles at eBags, EXPRESS, and The Buckle. Brook Harkless holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Merchandising from Colorado State University and a diploma from Greeley West High School's International Baccalaureate program.
