Matthew Carson

Matthew Carson, CFA, is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development at Acadian Asset Management since October 2011. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Senior Vice President and Partner at Merganser Capital Management from September 2002 to October 2011, where responsibilities included business development and consultant relations, as well as serving as a portfolio manager. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President at First American CoreLogic and State Street Global Advisors. Matthew began a career in finance as a TLP and Associate Auditor at General Electric. Matthew holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and has also studied abroad at UCL.
