Bailey Ballum has a diverse work history. They started their career as a Sales Associate at Source For Sports in 2013, where they gained experience in customer service and product knowledge. They then moved on to work as a Server at Steak & Sushi from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they worked as a Bartender at JOEY Restaurant Group from 2017 to 2019, where they contributed to delivering a high-quality dining experience. Bailey then transitioned to an Event Coordinator role at Sandman Hotel Group in 2019, where they coordinated events and managed logistics. In 2020, they joined Acadium as an Executive Assistant, providing administrative support. They later took on the role of Human Resources Manager at Acadium, overseeing various HR functions and business operations until 2022. Currently, Bailey serves as the Business Operations Lead at Acadium, contributing to the organization's mission of providing accessible career development opportunities.

Bailey Ballum's education history includes attending Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2017 to 2019. At Algonquin College, Bailey studied Tourism and Travel Services Management. Prior to that, Bailey attended the University of Ottawa from 2014 to 2015, where they studied Criminology. Bailey has also obtained additional certifications, such as the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) from the Travel Industry Council of Ontario in January 2018. In addition, Bailey has obtained the WHMIS certification from OnlineWHMIS.ca™ - Canada's Trusted and Recognized WHMIS Training, and the Smart Serve certification from Smart Serve Ontario, both in previous years.
