Erica Boni

Erica Boni has a diverse work experience in various roles within the social services field. Erica started their career as a Social Worker at Samuel Field YM/YWHA, where they provided developmental assistance to special needs children in an after school setting. Erica then worked as a Social Worker at Mid Island Y and Girl Scouts of Nassau County, where they continued to promote healthy habits and critical issues to underprivileged youth. Erica also served as a Social Worker at Good Shepherd Hospice CHSLI and a Bereavement Specialist, providing support to individuals experiencing grief. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant and Fundraising Committee member at Harmony Heights Residential and Day School, where they provided educational and therapeutic guidance and organized annual fundraisers. Erica gained experience in volunteer management as the Volunteer & Events Manager at Bideawee, overseeing a large volunteer organization and maintaining relationships with corporations. Erica also worked as the Director of Operations at Art Therapy Lane LLC., creating and delivering therapeutic care programs for people with disabilities, and as an Art Therapy Assistant at the same company, running recreational therapy programs. In their most recent role, Erica worked as a Care Manager at Advance Care Alliance, providing holistic, person-centered care management services for individuals with disabilities. Throughout their various positions, they demonstrated a commitment to creating inclusive environments and supporting the well-being of others.

Erica Boni earned an Associate's degree in American Sign Language (ASL) from Nassau Community College from 2009 to 2011. Erica then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University from 2011 to 2013.
