About the role We have a new opportunity for an experienced and passionate PR professional in Norway to oversee the publicity of Acast on a freelance basis. This role involves securing consistent, positive media attention and coverage, driving both consumer and trade PR efforts. You will work closely with the Nordic PR and Marketing team to strategize, create, and implement tailored PR activities based on current needs and priorities. This position is ideal for freelancer with a proven consultancy background and a knack for efficient, effective work. We estimate that this assignment will require approximately  8 hours per week.

What you´ll do •  Conduct proactive media outreach on behalf of Acast  •  Provide ideas/ themes and inform Acast of topics/ content for upcoming pitches to media  •  Generate a calendar of upcoming significant dates/ themes, helping Acast to plan ahead •  Secure consistent, positive media coverage in online/print/broadcast  •  Work with and report to the Nordic PR and Marketing team •  Ensure consistency and standards across all work  •  Reporting as outlined in the terms of service   • Conduct proactive media outreach on behalf of Acast podcasters and podcasts  • Significant experience in an agency role with with a strong track record and media contacts in men’s/ women’s

Who you are The ideal experience includes •  Significant experience in an agency role with with a strong track record and media contacts in men’s/ women’s consumer lifestyle, arts, and/or entertainment •  Exceptionally good communication skills • Creative and enthusiastic attitude  • A natural self-starter with a can-do attitude • Fluency in both Norwegian and English is ideal • A passion for podcasts is a must!
