Ian Oppermann is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, technology, and governance. Currently serving as Commissioner at the ACCC since December 2025, Ian promotes market competition and regulates national infrastructure services. Ian also holds significant roles as Chair of the Advisory Committee at KartaSoft, Co-Founder of both ServiceGen and Amaroo, and Advisor for JurisTechne, a legal tech startup leveraging AI for legal research. Previously, Ian was Chair of Data Standards for the Commonwealth Government and served as an Industry Professor at the University of Technology Sydney.
