Wallace Stark

Wallace Stark is a seasoned professional in the field of policy and gas markets, currently serving as the Acting General Manager and Executive Director of the Gas Markets Branch at ACCC since August 2019, following roles as Director and Assistant Director within the same branch. Prior to this, Wallace served as a Policy Adviser in the Office of the Treasurer and the Office of the Minister for Environment and Energy, both under the Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, and held multiple assistant policy advisory roles in various governmental offices. Wallace began a career in policy analysis at the Commonwealth Treasury and has experience as an Economist in the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Wallace holds a Master of Economics and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne.
