Chong Li

Chong Li has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Chong began their professional career in 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer at HSBC Global Technology China, where they excelled in service transition and customer support. During their time at HSBC, Chong led a global team in coordinating releases, conducting tests, and supporting users. Chong also demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with clients.

In 2014, Chong joined Utah State University as a Research Assistant, where they focused on wearable computing for activity recognition. Chong played a key role in designing a real-time human activity monitoring system for a smartwatch product. Chong applied various machine learning research techniques and developed a decision tree classifier for accurate activity recognition.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Chong served as a Teaching Assistant at Utah State University from 2015 to 2016, supporting faculty members and students in their educational activities.

In 2017, Chong transitioned into a role as a Product Consultant at Accela, where they developed intuitive and easy-to-use packaged solutions for government agencies worldwide. Chong was responsible for delivering redistributable solutions that met the specific needs of local, state, and federal governments.

Chong's expertise and passion in product management led to their promotion to Associate Product Manager at Accela in 2017. In this role, they demonstrated strong leadership and strategic thinking, contributing to the success of the organization.

In 2019, Chong further advanced their career as a Product Manager at Accela, specializing in product development and management. With their comprehensive skill set and industry knowledge, Chong continues to make valuable contributions to Accela's product offerings.

Chong Li completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science at Utah State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Chong Li obtained a certification in "Killing the Save Button: Making Brave Product Decisions" from LinkedIn in July 2022.
