Justin Towne

Justin Towne is an experienced scientist specializing in product technical support and assay development, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Accelerate Diagnostics since July 2013. Towne's responsibilities include overseeing scientific experiments for assay development, product improvement, and quality control. Prior to this role, Towne worked as a Research Associate focusing on innovative clinical microbiology technology. Previously, Towne gained experience as a Research Technician at The University of Arizona, performing diagnostic testing, and as a Research Intern at University Medical Center, where a study on Niemann-Pick Type C genetic disease was conducted. Towne holds a Professional Science Masters in Applied Biosciences and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Arizona.
