Amanda McElrath

Amanda McElrath has a diverse work history that spans across various educational organizations. Amanda currently holds the position of Director of School Partnerships at Accelerate Education, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they gained significant experience at Edmentum, where they worked from February 2018 to May 2022. During their time at Edmentum, they held the roles of Partnership Manager and Engagement Specialist. As a Partnership Manager, they were responsible for account ownership, supporting customers throughout the sales cycle, and driving new business in their assigned region. Amanda also took on leadership responsibilities, provided onboarding support, mentored team members, and contributed to process improvement activities. In their role as an Engagement Specialist, they excelled in lead generation between Sales and Marketing, exceeded sales quotas, managed pipelines, and played a crucial role in identifying and closing sales opportunities.

Before joining Edmentum, Amanda worked at Frisco ISD from August 2012 to August 2015 as a Foreign Language Educator (ASL), contributing to quality teaching and innovative programs, with an emphasis on technology. Amanda also worked at Plano ISD as a Foreign Language Educator (ASL) from August 2010 to August 2012, implementing curriculum and collaborating with the team on curriculum revamps. Amanda'searliest work experience was at Birdville ISD, where they served as a Middle School Deaf Educator from August 2009 to August 2010. In this role, they designed and implemented individualized lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.

Amanda McElrath earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Deaf Education with a specialty in Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University. Amanda attended the university from 2005 to 2009. Amanda also obtained a certification in American Sign Language (Grades EC-12) from the Texas Education Agency in December 2010.

Recently, Amanda enrolled in St. Edward's University where they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Amanda'sexpected graduation date is in 2024. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy in November 2022. Although the obtained month for their Generalist - Grades 4-8 certification from the Texas Education Agency and the Training & Development Certificate from Collin College are not specified, it can be assumed that they obtained these certifications around the same time as their other certifications in 2010.
