Senior Scientist at Accent Therapeutics

Cindy Collins has worked in the field of biotechnology for over 15 years. Cindy began their career in 2004 as a Research Technician at the University of Chicago Hospitals- Hematology/Oncology Department, where they studied the promoter methylation of BRAC1. In 2007, they moved to the Boston University School of Medicine- Rheumatology Department as a Research Technician, where they investigated the relationship between innate immune activation and systemic sclerosis. In 2011, they joined AVEO Oncology as a Research Associate II, where they characterized novel oncology antibody therapeutics. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Research Investigator, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate II at Syros Pharmaceuticals, where they discovered and validated unique gene targets using patient tissue. In 2018, they joined Accent Therapeutics, Inc. as a Scientist and then a Senior Scientist. Most recently, they worked at Goldfinch Bio as a Scientist.

Cindy Collins obtained their MA in Medical Sciences from Boston University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an AB in Biology from the University of Chicago between 2002 and 2005.
