Sammy Hassan

Sammy Hassan is an accomplished professional in the fields of hospice and palliative care, currently serving as Executive Director at AccentCare, Inc. since January 2022. Previously, Hassan held the role of Hospice Executive Director at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care and served for over a decade at Silverado in various capacities, including Administrator for Silverado Hospice and Senior Administrator, where significant contributions were made in building dementia-friendly communities and mentoring fellow administrators. Earlier career experiences include coordination roles at University of Chicago Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, focusing on patient support and cancer care. Additionally, Hassan has a solid foundation in gerontology, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology from the University of California, Berkeley, and further education at the University of Southern California.
