Alex Wood

Alex Wood is a Principal Consultant at Root Inc., part of Accenture, where responsibilities include fostering organizational change through creative and strategic engagement methods since August 2016. Prior to this role, Alex held multiple positions at the University of Michigan from June 2011 to July 2016, including Associate Director of Engagement & Internal Communications, overseeing donor and alumni relations within the Athletic Department, and Assistant Director roles focused on alumni engagement and the Letterwinners M Club. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in German, both obtained from the University of Michigan. Additionally, Alex served as President of the University of Michigan Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was Captain of the Men's Soccer Team, leading to accolades such as Big Ten Tournament Champion and Academic All-Big Ten honors.
