Dr. Matthias Ziegler

Dr. Matthias Ziegler is a Managing Director in the Emerging Technology Innovation (ETI) group at Accenture, overseeing operations in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany since January 2000. In addition to leading the ETI Awareness Program, Dr. Ziegler plays a critical role in promoting emerging technologies and enhancing Accenture’s reputation as a technology innovator. Prior experience includes leadership and technical roles at AEGEE and Siemens/SICAD, where Dr. Ziegler managed projects on object-relational geo databases while pursuing a PhD at the Technical University of Munich. Dr. Ziegler's early career featured an internship at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a foundational role as a Software Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, a Master of Science from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, and a recent Certificate in Robotics from MIT.
