Reina Lavi (Cohen)

Reina (Cohen) Lavi is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in admissions counseling and academic advising. Currently serving as an Admissions Counselor at AcceptU since 2012, Reina also volunteers as an Admissions Counselor for the Matchlighters Scholars Program at College Essay Guy. Previously, Reina worked as an Independent Admissions Consultant with IvyGate International Education Group and held positions as an Academic Advisor and Internship Coordinator at both the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Hebrew University. Reina's earlier roles include Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Dual Degree Programs between Columbia, Barnard, and JTS, Recruitment Coordinator at United Jewish Communities, and Human Resources Associate at The Jewish Museum. Reina holds a Certificate in College Advising from Teachers College, Columbia University, an MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Arizona.
