Martijn van Beek

Martijn van Beek is a Senior Software Engineer at Accerion, specializing in the development of Triton, an advanced localization sensor for mobile robots, since April 2021. Prior to this role, Martijn gained experience as an Advanced Software Engineer at AI in Motion, focusing on a full SLAM pipeline using visual and LiDAR data. Additional experience includes roles at Altran Nederland and Mapscape B.V., where Martijn worked on navigation map compilation and data transformations. Martijn's early career involved research and internships at Re/genT, the Sydney Institute for Astronomy, Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, and CERN, covering topics such as heat exchanger performance and cosmic phenomena. Martijn holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Radboud University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Physics from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven.
