RF Payload Systems Engineer - Lunar Pathfinder RF Communications Subsystem Lead at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL)

Ramy Kozman has extensive experience in the satellite technology industry. Ramy began their career in 2011 at Avanti Communications Group plc, where they held multiple roles, including Payload Systems Engineer and Lead Communications Systems Engineer. In these positions, they conducted RF communications analysis, managed a team, and worked on the delivery of satellite communications systems. Kozman then joined Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) in 2016. As an RF Payload Systems Engineer, they led the development of the lunar relay payload and Telemetry, Commanding and Ranging (TCR) subsystem for the Lunar Pathfinder mission. Ramy also served as the TCR subsystem lead for SSTL's first geostationary satellite, Eutelsat Quantum, where they were responsible for amplifying RF command uplinks and transmitting telemetry data. Throughout their career, Kozman has consistently demonstrated technical expertise and adaptability to evolving system and business requirements.

From 2007 to 2011, Ramy Kozman pursued a MSci(Hons) degree in Physics at Imperial College London.
