Gil Pena has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance. Gil started their career as a Quality Assurance Analyst at SQA² in March 2017, where they provided support to on-site team members and communicated regularly via email to keep them updated on their tasks and progress.
In 2018, Gil joined BCG Digital Ventures/Endpoint as a QA Engineer, where they were responsible for creating and developing the QA process for a mobile/web application. Gil designed the QA process using Agile/Scrum methodologies, developed an automation testing framework in Python using Selenium Webdriver and Appium, and successfully led a team of four QA analysts.
Next, Gil worked as a QA Engineer at Hook in 2019, overseeing multiple web and mobile applications in a fast-paced environment. Gil'sresponsibilities included performing functional testing, documenting issues/upgrades, and communicating them to the team. Gil also conducted cross-browser testing for banner ads and game testing for an Android augmented reality application.
Following their role at Hook, Gil joined Snap Inc. as a QA Engineer in 2019. In this position, they primarily focused on manual testing of Android and iOS applications and worked on iOS automation. Gil also provided occasional support to the Security QA team.
In 2020, Gil joined AT&T as a QA Tester, where they worked until 2021. As a QA Tester, they conducted quality assurance activities and testing for the company.
Currently, Gil Pena is working as a QA Engineer at Accertify, Inc. since August 2021, where they are involved in quality assurance engineering.

Gil Pena received their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mathematics from El Camino College from the years 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at California State University Long Beach, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.
