Amara Okafor

Amara Okafor is a seasoned professional in enterprise architecture and IT management, currently serving as a Senior Enterprise Architect at Access Bank Plc since February 2025 and as Team Lead for Enterprise Architecture and Process Optimization at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. since April 2023. Previously, Amara held various leadership roles at Fidelity Bank PLC from September 2014 to March 2023, including Group Head of Governance Strategy and Standards and Group Head of IT Service Management. Early career experiences include positions as Senior Engineer at the National Examinations Council (NECO) and Branch Manager at Oceanic Bank. Amara's educational qualifications include a B. Eng in Electronics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, an M.Sc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from Lagos State University.
