Akbar Syed

Akbar Syed has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Akbar began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at ACCESS Europe GmbH, where they worked until 2008. Akbar then joined Altran as a Senior Consultant from 2008 to 2010. Akbar returned to ACCESS Europe GmbH in 2011 and has held various roles, including Senior Software Architect, Technical Project Manager, Chief Engineer, and currently Vice President of Product & Content for the Automotive sector. During their time at ACCESS Europe GmbH, Akbar played a pivotal role in pioneering the design, development, and delivery of the ACCESS Twine4Car 2.0 Solution for In-Car Video, which included Live TV, Video On Demand, and Personal Video features.

Akbar Syed holds a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Information and Automation Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Bremen between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electrical and Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Akbar has obtained several certifications, including "Programming Foundations: Design Patterns" from LinkedIn in April 2021, "Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in March 2021, and the "Certified Scrum Master" from the Scrum Alliance in May 2012.
