Electrical Engineer at Access Laser

Heather Crawford has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Heather started their career as a Research Assistant at Florida Atlantic University, where they gained experience in analyzing data from the Hubble Space Telescope and operating fluorescence imaging techniques in the Microfluidics and Energy Lab.

Heather also worked as a Peer Tutor at Florida Atlantic University, where they demonstrated strong teaching skills and served as a role model for undergraduate students. In addition, they were a HSI Pre-Engineering Mentor, assisting students with their coursework and providing guidance on pursuing careers in engineering.

Heather further developed their engineering skills through internships at TLC Engineering Solutions, where they produced engineering blueprints and electrical layouts for buildings, and at RadiaBeam Technologies, where they designed flowcharts and components for PLC systems. Heather also gained hands-on experience in maintaining LINACs and high vacuum equipment.
