Julie Fain Lawrence is an accomplished professional in the fields of academia, theatre, and film. Currently serving as the Co-Head of the BFA Acting Program and Associate Professor at Pace University since September 2013, Julie has also contributed as a published author for Routledge Taylor & Francis Group since January 2020. In the realm of performance, Julie has acted in various projects, including the feature film "The Last" and the award-winning "Concussion," and is involved in the post-production of the musical mockumentary "Happy Yummy Chicken." Additionally, Julie has directed productions such as "The Seagull" and "As You Like It" at Montclair State University, where involvement spans from September 2007 to the present. Julie’s experience also includes hosting the podcast "FAIN TALK" and working as a teaching artist with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Educational background includes an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and dual BA degrees in Theatre, Film, and Television from UCLA.
