Position Overview:

Do you love building ⚙️ products people love?  We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join one of our scrum teams. In this role, you will be charged with the overall quality of what is shipped by your teams: tests plans (from design to execution), processes and production monitoring.

We are looking for passionate, driven problem-solvers; someone who can think on their feet and use their software testing experiences to make sound decisions that continuously improve our quality standards.

Location: Quebec, Canada. This role can be performed in a hybrid version of in-office (Quebec City 3 days/week) and remote.

Reports to: Software Development Manager

Travel ✈️ Requirement: Up to 15% (once per quarter)

What you'll be working on:

  • Work within an embedded scrum team and validate functionality as it is being developed.
  • Improve the overall quality of our software by impacting positively the tools & processes, both on software & hardware.
  • Derive test cases and test coverage from user stories as well as client experiences and expectations.
  • Design, plan et execute tests plans & non regression tests, either manually or automatically.
  • Use real world scenarios to validate that functionality is working as designed.
  • Collaborate with other members of QA, as well as various other teams throughout the organization, including product, development, client services.
  • Use extremely strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with people and teams.

What you bring to the role:

  • Knowledge of French and English spoken and written
  • 2+ years of overall experience working as a QA automation engineer for web/application or mobile development projects.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of quality and software best practices.
  • Proven ability to manually create and execute test suites.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative, drive change, and constantly improve.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, and test case management systems.
  • Experience working within an AGILE development environment.
  • A passion for mountains & ski!

  • Experience with automation and programming languages
  • ISTQB certification
