Scott Westbrook has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Scott started their career in 1993 at Sprint, working in sales. From 1998 to 2004, they served as a Senior Detention Officer at Los Angeles County Probation, responsible for the care and welfare of incarcerated minors. In 2013, they transitioned to Dignity Joshua Memorial Mortuary & Park as a Pre-Need Advisor until 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they also worked at Colonial Life in the Los Angeles County Market. In 2018, they joined Closehero as a Business Development Specialist, later becoming the Director of Sales until 2019. In 2019, they started their own business, SC Westbrook Consultants, as a Business Owner. In 2020, they joined AccessParks as a Sales Manager and later became the Vice President of Sales. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, they worked at Antelope Valley Care Center as a Safety Specialist and was awaiting California State Board Certification in Nursing, specializing in safety and case management.

Scott Westbrook has a diverse education history. Scott attended Troy High School from 1982 to 1985 and obtained their High School diploma. From 1985 to 1990, they attended Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they studied Biology, General and did not earn a degree. Following this, Scott pursued Bible/Biblical Studies at The Master's College from 1990 to 1992, but did not obtain a degree. After a long gap, they attended the Joseph School of Nursing from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Nursing Degree with a specialization in Case Management. In addition to their formal education, Scott has also obtained a certification in Ventilator and Trach, but the institution and the specific dates of obtaining it are unknown.
