Catherine Arnold OBE is the Master of St Edmund's College, Cambridge, since October 2019, responsible for overseeing a diverse community and serving as chair of the Governing Body and Council. As a Leadership Trainer and Facilitator at Accipio, Catherine has trained over 100 senior leaders and achieved CMI qualifications. In March to April 2024, Catherine served as a Diplomat in Residence at the University of Notre Dame, engaging in teaching and mentorship. Previously, Catherine held various roles at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2006 to September 2019, including Ambassador and head of the UK COP26 bid campaign, with expertise in policy development, human rights, and media communication. Catherine’s earlier career featured positions in journalism, travel writing, and consultancy, as well as an educational background from the University of Cambridge and the University of Nottingham, with qualifications in strategic leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
