Kåre Agardh has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1998. Kåre began their career at C Technologies as an Electronics Designer, where they worked on system and electronics design for handheld scanner devices. In 2002, they joined Sony Mobile Communications as a Specialist in Short Range Wireless, responsible for projects related to Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and ANT+. Kåre then moved into the role of Master Engineer in Research & Incubation, where they were responsible for design, prototyping, and innovation around wireless technologies for IoT and mobile devices. In 2019, they left Sony to join Sony Research Center Lund as a Master Engineer, where they researched and standardized private wireless networks. In 2021, they joined Acconeer AB as Head of System Development, leading a team of experts in researching and developing the functionality of current and future radar products.
Kåre Agardh attended Lund University from 1994 to 1999 where they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1997, they also attended RMIT University and obtained a M Sc EE in Electrical Engineering, Bio Medical engineering, and Business economics.
