Joe Stasi

Joe is a Managing Director, Consolidations Team Lead in Accordion’s CFO Tech practice, bringing with him over 20 years of corporate close process experience. Before joining Accordion, Joe was a co-founder of Platform Specialists (acquired by Accordion in 2022), a boutique consultancy focused on delivering client solutions for operational and financial intelligence. Over the course of 10 years co-leading the company, he focused on corporate culture and implementation excellence as a focal point for strategic growth. This helped contribute to Platform Specialists being recognized as an ‘Inc Best Workplaces’ for two consecutive years.

Starting as a corporate reporting analyst in industry, Joe has built up to a senior design lead on some of the world’s largest performance management implementations. His approach of building financial solutions that maximize value and minimize maintenance has ensured project success throughout his career. With Platform Specialists, Joe and his team have helped stakeholders gain the efficiencies needed to conduct analyses and make strategic business decisions, while shortening close times and providing a better way to work in finance.

Joe’s expertise has led him to work within all industries, specifically specializing in enterprise, insurance, manufacturing, security, and financial services. A few common use cases of where his expertise helps streamline the financial close includes dealing with poor data quality, disparate systems, under-supported finance teams, and lack of automation. This hyper-focus on delivering value to finance teams via well designed and integrated systems is a seamless transition to the private equity space that can greatly benefit from digital enablement.
