Mikko Sauranen

Mikko Sauranen has nearly 23 years of work experience in the field of information security and consultancy. Mikko is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Accountor Group since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Information Security at the same company from April 2018 to May 2022. Before joining Accountor Group, they worked at Nixu Corporation as a Senior Security Consultant from January 2017 to April 2018 and as a Security Consultant from December 2014 to December 2016. Mikko also served as a Compliance Manager at CGI from November 2010 to December 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as an IT Consultant at Logica from February 2008 to October 2010 and as a Corporate Security Manager/Fraud Manager at TeliaSonera Finland from May 1999 to September 2007.

Mikko Sauranen obtained a BBA degree in Information Technology from Kymenlaakso Polytechnic from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including ISO/IEC 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager from PECB in January 2018, TOGAF 9 Foundation level from The Open Group in 2017, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB in August 2016, and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2014.
