Simon Longley-Gammon has extensive experience in business development, sales, and management roles. Simon is currently the Head of Business Development - EMEA at Accredible. Prior to this, they worked at GBG Plc as a New Business Sales Manager, where they led a team of New Business Development Managers and focused on selling global electronic Identity Verification solutions. Before that, Simon worked at IRIS Software, first as the Head of Department- Sales and Business Development, where they managed a team of 40 indirect reports and achieved 109% of target, and then as the Sales/Business Development Team Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Tele-sales team. Simon also served as a Senior Sales Account Manager and Sales Account Manager, excelling in meeting targets and providing training and mentoring to colleagues. Simon's earlier experience includes roles as the Food and Beverage Manager at De Vere Venues and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager/Events Coordinator at P&O Cruises, where they demonstrated their ability to provide high-quality service and drive sales.
Simon Longley-Gammon attended Leeds Metropolitan University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Events Management (BAHons) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In addition to their formal education, Simon completed additional certifications including Accredible Product Training - Pathways in April 2023 and Product Proficiency in July 2021, both from Accredible.
