Piero Zucchelli

Piero Zucchelli is a highly experienced professional in the fields of biosciences and technology, currently serving as a member of the Strategic Board at RDS since June 2021, focusing on post-surgery patient monitoring. Zucchelli is also a member of the Board of Directors for accroma labtec Ltd. and SEED Biosciences, specializing in automating powder sample preparation and single-cell manipulation, respectively. In addition, Zucchelli contributes as a member of the Board of Advisors at CellDynamics, which emphasizes cell characterization, and has a robust background as a President and CEO at Andrew Alliance from June 2010 to May 2021, where significant advancements in automation technology were achieved. Earlier experiences include a Chief Scientific Officer role and founding SpinX Technologies, collaborating on lab-on-a-chip product development. Zucchelli's extensive academic qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Ferrara, coupled with substantial research work carried out at CERN and Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare.
