Steven Salo

Steven Salo has extensive work experience in finance and executive roles. Steven started their career at PwC as an Analyst in Investment Banking & Tax. Steven then worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as an Associate, focusing on European & UK Mergers and Acquisitions. Steven joined Citi as the Director of Investment Banking (M&A), where they led various buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Steven then joined Arabtec Holding PJSC as the Head of Group Strategy and M&A, responsible for strategy, corporate development, and supporting the finance function. Steven later served as the Chief Executive Officer at DSG, overseeing the restructuring of the pan-Asian group.

From 2016 to 2022, Steven worked at Depa Group as the Chief Financial Officer, leading a comprehensive strategic review and executing a transformational plan, resulting in significant cost savings.

Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Accsys.

Steven Salo earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting, Management, and Marketing from Deakin University, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Victorian Certificate of Education at Wesley College from 1995 to 1997. In 2003, Steven pursued a Masters degree in Applied Finance and Investment (Distinction) at FINSIA, which they completed in 2004. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2001 through the ICAEW and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in 2005.
