Hiroyuki Onishi

Hiroyuki Onishi has extensive experience in the field of technology and networking. Hiroyuki is currently the Director and Chief Solution Architect at Accton, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Founder, Adviser, and Country Manager at Aviz Networks starting from September 2020. Hiroyuki also founded and served as the CEO of BigWest, LLC. since September 2018.

Before their current roles, Onishi worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at NVIDIA from June 2020 to October 2023. Hiroyuki held the position of Systems Engineer at Cumulus Networks from January 2017 to June 2020, where they managed pre-sales and post-sales activities, developed partnerships, and handled all aspects of business development in Japan.

Prior to Cumulus Networks, Onishi worked at Fortinet as a Network Security Architect and Senior Consulting Systems Engineer from September 2012 to December 2016. At Fortinet, they were responsible for serving Japanese service providers, telecom customers, and large enterprise customers, focusing on high-end security systems and mobile networks.

Onishi also gained valuable experience at Juniper Networks, where they held several roles. From January 2009 to August 2012, they served as the Leader of the Juniper Technical Specialist for Security and as a Systems Engineer from July 2008 to August 2012.

Starting their career at NEC Corporation in 2003, Onishi held multiple positions including Project Manager, Product Manager, and Project Manager at the IP Network Division (R&D). Hiroyuki contributed to developing reliable multicast solutions, commercializing Juniper products, managing technical support, and leading projects exclusive to NTT-West Flet's Hikari Premium service.
