Mary Hartman

Mary Hartman currently serves as a DRG Trainer at Accuity Healthcare, a position started in October 2022, where training is provided for DI Specialists. Previously, Mary held the role of DRG Integrity Specialist at Baylor Scott & White Health since February 2016 and has experience as a Coding Specialist and Cardiovascular Coder since August 2020. With a solid background in inpatient and emergency room coding across various healthcare organizations, including himagine solutions inc., Baylor University Medical Center, and Spectrum Health, Mary has demonstrated extensive expertise in coding practices since beginning a career in healthcare coding with Mercy Health Partners in 1989. Mary holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration/Management from Ferris State University and has completed practical nursing education at Muskegon Community College and nursing studies at Muskegon Business College.
