Michelle Coovert has over a decade of experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement roles. Michelle is currently working at ACCUMEN Inc. as the Director of Customer Success, where they oversee customer relationships and ensures successful implementation of Accumen Analytics. Prior to this, Michelle served as a Client Implementation Manager at ACCUMEN Inc., where they worked closely with clients to implement the Accumen Performance Suite. Before joining ACCUMEN Inc., Michelle worked at Cott Beverages as a Sr. Manager Operational Excellence and CI Manager - Central Region, where they implemented various improvement projects and helped reduce downtime and changeover time. Michelle also has experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager at Dean Foods and as an Industrial Engineer at Nestle. Michelle holds a CLSSBB certification and an M.S.Ed degree.

Michelle Coovert, CLSSBB, M.S.Ed, received their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Education from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University in 2006 to 2007. Michelle also holds additional certifications as a Six Sigma Black Belt from MSI Certified in August 2018, and as a Six Sigma Green Belt from Northern Illinois University in May 2007. Michelle also completed training in Value Stream Mapping: A Methodology for Sustainable System Improvement from the Lean Enterprise Institute in November 2015.
