Colin Fitzsimmons has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Colin started their career at Lands' End Inc as a Customer Sales Representative in 1988 and later moved on to become an IT Technical Services Technician/Analyst, providing workstation and help desk support. In 2008, Colin worked as an IT Technician for various contracted services, including Robert Half, Peak Systems, ZeroChaos/IBM, Dell Corp., IBM Corp., and HP/Compaq Corp. Colin also worked as a Computer Install Technician at Zero Chaos/IBM, where they built and installed computers for customers.

Colin transitioned into telecom roles, starting with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as a Telecommunications Manager in 2010, followed by a Telecommunications Administrator position in 2012. In these roles, they coordinated telecom services for Wisconsin-DNR staff and handled service requests.

In 2011, Colin worked at IBM as an SQL Database Administrator, and in 2018, they joined Accuray as a Desktop Support Specialist, providing technical support, troubleshooting, software and hardware distribution, and AD permissions management for Accuray's employees.

Colin also has experience in the education sector, serving as a Track and Field Coach for the Dodgeville School District from 2000 to 2019. During their time there, they also worked as an IT Support Technician, managing IT upgrades and support, as well as implementing and managing Symantec Endpoint Protection server and workstation distribution.

Throughout their career, Colin has specialized in IT support, customer service, telecommunications administration, and database administration.

Colin Fitzsimmons completed their high school education at Baldwin-woodville High School from 1979 to 1983, with no specified degree or field of study. Colin later pursued further education at Madison Area Technical College from 1989 to 1993, earning an Associates in Applied Science degree with a focus on Electronics.
