Medical Physicist at Accuray

Mayur Sawant has a strong background in medical physics, with experience in various hospitals and organizations. Mayur currently works as a Clinical Physics Training & Support Specialist at Accuray, starting in January 2022. Previously, they served as a Medical Physicist at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre from April 2019 to December 2021. Mayur Sawant attended Gogate Jogalekar College from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a BSc degree in Physics.

Mayur then enrolled at the University of Mumbai from 2011 to 2013 and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nuclear Physics.

Following that, Mayur Sawant pursued a Dip. RP (Diploma in Radiological Physics) at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, completing the program in 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Mayur Sawant obtained the "Medical Physicist In Therapeutic Radiological Physics Or Radiation Oncology" certification from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in August 2014. Mayur also obtained the "Radiological Safety Officer" certification from the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) in January 2016. Most recently, in September 2022, they completed the "Leading Your Org on a Journey of Allyship" course offered by LinkedIn.
