Melanie Gebauer

Melanie Gebauer is Vice President Global Human Resources at Accuray, with responsibility for leading global HR operations. She is also the direct business partner for the Research & Development (R&D) leadership team and is the primary executive in charge of guiding the advancement of the organization’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and elevating employee development. Melanie has a proven track record of aligning human capital strategies with business goals to deliver results through improved performance, engagement, profitability and growth.

Prior to joining Accuray, Melanie spent nearly four years as the Global Senior Human Resources Director at Genus Plc where she provided strategic support to the R&D and IntelliGen Technologies business and its nine manufacturing labs and research labs, across the globe including India, UK, Brazil, and the U.S. Previously, she was with Amcor Ltd for over seven years in various HR leadership roles of increasing responsibility including her last position, as Director, where she led a team through post-merger integration work involving six manufacturing sites and the corporate headquarters.

Melanie holds bachelor’s degrees in both political science and German language, literature & culture from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and is a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management. She speaks fluent German and has dual citizenship with Germany.
