George Furlong

George Furlong has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. George currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer at accūrō Solutions since May 2021. Before that, from November 2020 to May 2021, George worked as a Workers' Compensation Executive. Prior to that, George worked at Sedgwick for eight years, from October 2012 to November 2020, as the SVP Managed Care Program Outcomes Analysis. George also held the role of Chief Business Intelligence Officer at Universal SmartComp from February 2011 to October 2012. Before that, from February 2007 to February 2011, George served as the SVP Program Development and Analytics at Bunch & Associates. In their career, George has also held roles such as VP at CHOICE Medical Management from 2004 to 2007, Director of Information Management at National Healthcare Resources (now Coventry) from 1999 to 2001, and Director of Information Management at United HealthCare from 1992 to 1999. George started their career as a Senior Accountant/Controller at Dreyfus Consumer Bank from 1984 to 1991.
