General Manager (connect)

London, United Kingdom

Job description

How you'll be contributing to Accurx as a General Manager...

For decades, health systems have been striving to solve integration between services, such as GP practices and hospitals. This is a core part of our vision - that everyone involved in a patient’s care can communicate with each other. With adoption in 98% of GP practices and a growing number of hospitals, we are now creating a new division, ‘Connect’, focused on solving this interface. The Connect GM will lead our go-to-market activity. As a communication platform, we are only as powerful as our network, so this person will be responsible for getting healthcare providers across the country to communicate with other providers, strengthening the network. This will create a wide range of future opportunities, from improving hospital discharges to solving hospital-to-hospital referrals. This key role requires an ambitious and visionary leader with a proven track record in establishing and growing new markets. You’ll be able to inspire senior NHS executives and run scrappy experiments to build the network.

The Connect GM is responsible for specific company objectives related to the Connect market. They will lead a cross-functional team whose goals and Key Results (KRs) directly impact these objectives.

Your day to day tasks, should you choose to accept this mission 🤝...

Building the network

  • Finding innovative ways to get all healthcare staff using us to communicate with other organisations
  • Implementing strategies to enhance our network density, focusing on increasing the number and strength of connections between users
  • Proving deep adoption within a small number of areas, then scaling it nationally
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to drive the network and adoption
  • Developing a deep understanding of our users and their communication needs to build a compelling and differentiated value proposition that drives network growth
  • Designing iterative experiments to test and grow the network

Developing the commercial strategy

  • Building an understanding of the key problems to solve, and the ROI of solving these, and then translating this into commercials (e.g. pricing model)
  • Establishing a pipeline of interest

Leading the team

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing core GTM team.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
  • Engage efficiently with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, fostering collaboration and ensuring strong teamwork between functions to meet your market goals, while respecting and understanding parallel company efforts and limitations.

What the team say ...

"The Connect market is fundamental to our company’s vision: everyone involved in a patient’s care can communicate with each other. This future would mean no more letters, switchboards, phone tennis and other inconveniences. To do this we need to have incredibly dense, sticky, high-transaction networks of communication across care settings. The role of the Connect GM couldn't be more central to the success of out mission" Barak Zimerman, COO
