Amanda Marandola's work experience began in 2009 as an Account Coordinator Intern at BBDO Worldwide, where they handled Chrysler advertising and other related tasks. In 2010, they held internships at Byrum & Fisk Advocacy Communications and T-Shirt Laundry, focusing on PR and communications, as well as marketing and communications, respectively. Amanda also served as a Bateman Director at the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) during that time. From 2010 to 2011, Amanda held multiple roles at Michigan State University, including Vice President of Event Planning and Marketing & Promotions Associate. Amanda then joined Hearst Magazines in 2011, working as an Advertising Sales Assistant. In 2012, they moved to Hearst Men's Group as a Senior Digital Sales Strategist, managing various digital accounts. Amanda transitioned to Gawker Media in 2015, first as an Account Executive and later as a Senior Account Manager. In 2016, they joined GumGum as an Account Executive. Most recently, they have been working at AccuWeather since 2017, starting as the Director of Advertising Sales and eventually progressing to Senior Director and Vice President of Media & Data Partnerships.
Amanda Marandola received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Advertising and Public Relations from Michigan State University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011.
