Dan Pydynowski is an accomplished meteorologist with extensive experience at AccuWeather since June 2004, currently serving as the Lead Morning Meteorologist and Supervisor of Forecasting Operations. In this role, Dan leads a team of over 10 direct reports, overseeing performance reviews and career development, while earning three ACE awards and multiple monthly recognitions for outstanding performance. Dan’s career at AccuWeather began with a Forecasting Internship in 2003, and encompasses roles that involved providing forecasts for a diverse clientele, demonstrating teamwork and dedication to client expectations. Earlier experiences include a Climate Research Internship at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, where research focused on the 1930s Dust Bowl, along with various positions that developed problem-solving and operational skills. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from North Carolina State University, achieved in 2004.
