Matthew Alto

Matthew Alto has a diverse work experience in the field of meteorology and business development. Matthew began their career as a Weather Intern at WEWS-TV, where they gained valuable knowledge in forecasting and severe weather tracking. Matthew then interned as a Forecasting Intern at AccuWeather before joining as a Meteorologist, where they provided weather forecasts and wrote weather news stories. Matthew later transitioned to a role as a Project Analyst in the Innovation & Development team, collaborating with government and industry providers to improve weather data. Matthew then became the Manager of Global Data Partnerships, establishing partnerships to enhance AccuWeather's offerings. Currently, Matthew is the Director of Business Development Data, leading the integration of AccuWeather's data sets into cloud marketplaces and managing client relationships. Throughout their career, they have displayed strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Matthew Alto attended Archbishop Hoban High School from 2003 to 2007 and obtained their High School Diploma. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at Penn State University from 2007 to 2011.
