Douglas Leigh

Douglas Leigh is a seasoned professional in legislative affairs with extensive experience in advocating for the chemical distribution industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Legislative Affairs at the National Association of Chemical Distributors since September 2014, Douglas develops and implements legislative agendas related to energy, environment, transportation, regulatory reform, security, and small business. Previously, Douglas held various positions at the American Society of Anesthesiologists® focused on legislative affairs and began a career in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Senior Intern/Staff Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston, as well as a Management Program Certificate from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
