Joe Sanders has extensive experience in project management within international development, with a focus on agriculture, water, sanitation, and community development. Currently serving as Chief of Party at ACDI/VOCA for the USAID/Kenya Livestock Market Systems project, Joe oversees a $64 million initiative aimed at alleviating poverty and enhancing community resilience in the livestock market system. Prior to this, Joe held similar leadership roles for various USAID projects in Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Nepal, demonstrating expertise in improving food security, agricultural development, sustainable water and sanitation services, and community capacity building. With a Master's degree in Managing Rural Development from the University of London and a B.S. in Biology from The Catholic University of America, Joe's career reflects a commitment to facilitating sustainable development and improving livelihoods in underserved regions.
