Carmen Escribano Ródenas

Deputy Secretary General at ACdP

María del Carmen Escribano Ródenas is deputy secretary general of the ACdP and member of the Board of Trustees of the Ángel Herrera Oria Cultural Foundation, since 2012, as well as an adjunct professor since 1994, of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics of the CEU San Pablo University of Madrid, with teaching at the Faculty of Economics and in the University Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education and Baccalaureate. She has a degree in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid, a doctorate in Mathematical Sciences from the UNED and a Postgraduate degree with a university specialist degree in History of Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid. She belongs to the body of Professors of Secondary Education and was a professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, from the Complutense University and the Ramón Carande Center for Higher Social and Legal Studies (Madrid). His Doctoral Thesis (Orlicz spaces of vector functions) was directed by Mr. Pedro Jiménez Guerra and qualified with Outstanding Cum Laude in 1990. At present, his main lines of research are the History of Mathematics, the Didactics of Mathematics and the Multicriteria Decision Theory. In addition, she is associate editor of the History and Teaching section of BEIO Journal, and scientific director of the International Journal of Learning in Science, Mathematics and Technology.
