Bas Ven has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Bas has worked in various companies and held roles such as Technical Lead, Principal Software Engineer, and Software Engineer.

At Ace Info Solutions, Inc., Bas served as a Technical Lead, contributing to the success of the GSA Conexus program. Bas then joined another project, where they took ownership of an existing code base and introduced rest in a green field microservice using hateos.

Bas Ven completed their high school education from Marnix van St Aldegonde between the years of 1975 and 1981. Following this, they attended Independence High School for a year from 1981 to 1982. Subsequently, Bas Ven pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986.
