Alan Ankerstjerne has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of graphic design and art direction. Alan started their career as an intern at Surplus Wonder in 2010. From there, they worked as a freelance graphic designer at Wonderland Creative from 2011 to 2014. In 2012, they also freelanced as a graphic designer at Victor Lieberath Studio.

In 2013, Alan joined COVER / Malling Publications as an art director, where they led various projects such as COVER MAN issue 6-13 and COVER issue 83-84. Alan also worked on client magazines like KEA magazine and KEA Annual reports.

Alan then worked as a freelance graphic designer and art director at BRUNSWICKER in 2015. At BRUNSWICKER, they were involved in various design disciplines including art direction, branding, advertising, packaging, and magazine design.

In 2015, Alan briefly served as the art director at Børsen Pleasure before joining BESTSELLER as a graphic designer and art director in 2016. During their time at BESTSELLER, they contributed to their design projects until 2017.

Afterwards, Alan worked at Wood Wood from 2017 to 2022 as a graphic designer and art director, where they showcased their skills in creating visually appealing designs.

Currently, Alan is employed at Ace & Tate as an art director, starting in 2022. Overall, Alan Ankerstjerne has gained valuable experience and expertise in graphic design and art direction through their roles in various companies and as a freelancer.

Alan Ankerstjerne's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at the Center for Media and Communication. Alan studied Design and Visual Communications, General but did not attain a degree from this institution. The following year, in 2007, Alan Ankerstjerne started attending The Graphic Arts Institute of Denmark, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Alan completed their studies at this institution in 2010.
