Chad Dixon

Chad Dixon has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Chad currently holds the position of Consulting Director at Acelerex. Prior to this, Chad served as the Treasurer at Young Professionals in Energy Philadelphia (YPE Philly). Chad also worked as an Independent Consultant - Energy Markets at Dixon Companies. Chad's previous roles include Manager of Business Development at Quidnet Energy and Senior Consultant and Consultant in the Emerging Technologies group at Customized Energy Solutions. Chad gained experience in energy resource operation as a Certified Energy Resource Operator at Viridity Energy, Inc. Chad has also contributed as a Contributor at the Millennial Action Project (MAP) and worked as an Energy Auditing Associate at the Industrial Assessment Center. Chad started their career as an Outreach Associate at Community Energy, Inc and as a Technology Marketing Intern at the Office of Economic Innovation and Partnerships.

Chad Dixon completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Energy & Environmental Policy and Energy, Technology & Society from the University of Delaware, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Chad then pursued further education at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where they obtained an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their academic background, Chad has also obtained some certifications. In July 2018, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, in March 2015, they became certified as a PJM Certified Generation Operator by the PJM Interconnection.
