Bo Hjorth Bentzen

Bo Hjorth Bentzen is an Associate Professor and project manager at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on the project "Safe and effective pharmacological treatment for atrial fibrillation," funded by The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation. Since December 2011, Bo has been a Principal Scientist in in vitro pharmacology at Acesion Pharma, managing drug screening assays for atrial fibrillation treatments. Previous roles include postdoctoral positions and research scientist at NeuroSearch, as well as leadership on the board of the Industrial PhD & PostDoc Association. Bo holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and an M.Sc. in Human Biology from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by business training from Harvard Business School.
