Tonyisha Harris

Associate Director of Communications & Partnerships at Alliance for Climate Emergency

Tonyisha Harris is currently the Associate Director of Communications & Partnerships at Alliance for Climate Emergency. Prior to this, they were a Fellow at New Leaders Council from January 2021 to June 2021. Before that, they were the Chicagoland Conservation Manager at Illinois Environmental Council from September 2019 to February 2022, where they designed a food web model for the western basin of Lake Erie in Ecopath with Ecosim. Prior to that, they were an intern at Huron River Watershed Council from June 2018 to August 2018, where they gathered data while creekwalking and conducted ecological survey assessments.

Tonyisha Harris has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Loyola University Chicago. Tonyisha also has a certification from Scuba & Nitrox Safety International in Open Water Diver.
